A few sizes we have are 88sq ft_. 150 st, 250 sq.ft and a couple that are 550+ sq.f ft. Some studios have doors, and others have an unfinished door or open wall. Many studios are private, giving artists a quiet workspace, while some are shared for those who enjoy collaboration and community.

Do the artist studios have natural light, ventilation, and 24-hour access?
Yes — most but not all studios feature natural light and good ventilation. Tenants enjoy 24-hour access, allowing artists to work on their own schedule, evenings, and weekends.

Yes! Studio artists can participate in gallery exhibitions, open studios, and community events, gaining visibility and new audience connections.

We host Open Studios and quarterly art exhibitions featuring studio artists at Faultline Artspace. Our storefront Faultline Gallery on MacArthur in the Laurel District in Oakland hosts regular art exhibitions, social drawing events, and life drawing/ figure drawing sessions. More workshops announced soon!

Absolutely. During organized events, artists can choose to open their studios and meet visitors, collectors, and curators. Participation is encouraged, but always up to you.

We combine affordable, flexible workspaces with gallery opportunities and an inspiring community. Our mission is to support Bay Area artists so they can thrive in Oakland.

We have shared screen printing equipment including large exposing unit, wash out sink, dip tank, and table presses. We have a fully equipped wood shop available free for light jobs or for a fee with more intense usage.
