Iweš-‘iweš kečkeyma- One Hundred Women

A legacy of Indigenous resistance and resilience by Artist in Residence Inés Ixierda in collaboration with @villages_of_lisjan and @sogoreatelandtrust

This ancestral reckoning honors the first 100 Indigenous women and girls taken into the Bay Area Missions in the first wave of colonization, through an offering of 100 hand made ribbon skirts.
