Jan Simmala Art - "You Know Me Better Than I Thought"

$600.00

Acrylic on 10×10 inch wood art panel. Ships May 1st

They say traveling together is one of the ultimate relationship tests, and this painting is a tribute to that.

On our first trip together, just a few months into dating, my partner and I were walking back to the car along the Monterey Bay coast when I spotted a purple field of flowers and couldn’t resist taking a closer look. I promised it would only take 10 minutes, but he just chuckled knowingly and suggested we drop off our bags first, certain I’d want to keep wandering. I waved it off, convinced I’d stick to my word.

Thirty minutes later, we were still chasing the flowers, bags in hand! This painting captures that moment—the spot where we finally stopped, laughed, and admitted he was right. It’s dedicated to realizing I’d found someone who not only understands my wandering spirit but actually embraces it!
