Niki Toney - "Look With Your Eyes!"

$400.00

Mixed (Acrylic, Colored Pencil, Capiz) on 10×10 inch wood art panel, ships May 1st.

This piece is a grown up rendition of a Filipino folk tale about how the first pineapple came to be. A lazy girl called Pina was always asking her mom where things were in the house. Her frustrated mother exclaimed "I wish you had a thousand eyes so that you never have to ask me where things are!" When Pina's mom awoke the next day she found her daughter had turned into a pineapple, with a thousand eyes.
