I’ve loved Entwistle’s scrawling depiction of the band on The Who By Numbers cover since I was a young kid, and was lucky enough to get to listen to my Dad's original album. As a child, I was always one to have a pencil in my hand, and one day I added my own mark while listening to the record, connecting the dots and completing the puzzle on the cover. My piece for this show is my attempt to replicate that very album, scribbles and all, as an homage to a well-loved (and well-listened to) object of nostalgia and playfulness.
